Children from all diverse regions of the globe are similar in many ways, yet they grow up in different worlds. Many of these children will soon be making the decisions that matter – shaping their communities, furthering their country’s progress and development, rectifying the errors of past generations and paving the way for those that will follow. The present world is not a unified or equitable one, often separated by political boundaries, religion, opportunity, freedom, health, education, and income. Beyond these divisive boundaries, however, there is something powerful and inextinguishable that unites us all, our humanity.
It is a core motivation for embarking on the KEEPS Exhibition Project that one day all children will have the same opportunity to fulfill their ambitions. So what do children consider as most important in their lives? This is the goal of the KEEPS Exhibition - to spend time with children from all parts of the globe, to learn from them, to hear their stories, if briefly, and then to bring all these diverse experiences and outlooks together.
